ROTO 170 FS UAV

Four-cylinder, four-stroke engine, air-cooled, is equipped with a controlled CDI unit with a preset advance curve for smooth operation. This engine stands out for its very smooth operation without vibrations. These low vibrations are achieved by the engine's design, where as an opposed boxer it has excellent characteristics in all projects where it is necessary to ensure smooth operation without vibrations. Its excellent fuel consumption is also achieved by the option to use Roto EFI equipment for reaching high altitudes or low fuel consumption. The Roto 170 FS UAV has a high lifespan, thanks to the materials used in pistons and cylinder liners.

Performance Chart

The chart shows the performance of the ROTO35 UAV engine in relation to engine speed (RPM) and throttle position.

The horizontal axis indicates engine speed (3,500 to 6,000 RPM), and the vertical axis represents power output (1.0 to 1.5 kW).

The power output increases with RPM and is highest at wide open throttle (WOT). Lower throttle settings show increasing power up to a point, followed by a decrease or stabilization. This indicates optimal performance at higher RPMs and full throttle.

The graph details the relationship between engine revolutions per minute (RPM) and fuel consumption expressed in grams per hour (g/h). The data was measured using a 30/10 propeller and a carburetor fuel system.
