E-CON Controller Usage Guidelines

Environment: The E-CON controller must be operated in a dry environment and within its specified operational limits.
Cooling: Ensure sufficient airflow around the controller to prevent overheating.

Installation:

Connect the battery and motor using high-quality connectors.
An anti-spark circuit is included to prevent sparks during the connection process.

Control and Configuration:

Use the MAV Manager software for real-time control and configuration adjustments directly from a PC, including starting/stopping the engine and setting the generator current.
The JETIBOX terminal provides additional options for configuration and telemetry.

Generator Performance

The E-CON controller includes several safety features:

Proper Polarity: Always ensure correct polarity when connecting the device.
Propeller Precautions: Remove the propeller when making changes to the drive setup.
Battery Requirements: Use a sufficiently charged 12S LiPo battery with a BMS circuit.
Environmental Conditions: Operate within the recommended temperature range and ensure a dry environment.

A 24-month warranty is provided, covering operation within specified conditions and without mechanical damage.

UAV ENGINES

Roto engines are tested in harsh conditions simulating real missions from takeoff through the flight phase to the landing sequence. We know that the engines are operated in harsh conditions with dusty environments, but also in rain and cold weather. We have tested all these conditions over the last 10 years on our Roto engines. Based on this experience, we strive to reach 300 hours TBO. In every cooperation with the customer we try to get feedback from flight tests, based on which we can achieve TBO with a great range.
